Of course, there's my Josie Doodle (um, I guess most of you might know her by the clever alias "Joyce").
Here she is looking particularly Thai. Note the hook coming out the top of her head. |
Our Momm came along and had a blast.
She's still sorting through all the pictures she took.
You may be able to see some of them at her website.
Unfortunately, her camera didn't survive the trip. Would you have guessed that digital cameras can't take immersion in salt water? |

In addition to being great company, Tina was our medical support team.
She's an attending in the local ER, and she brought her little black bag along.
Joyce and Tina met in church group soon after Joyce moved to Seattle. She's also a member of the Tutta Bella Club. |
Arthur is Tina's brother and one of our regular climbing buddies.
He's also a partner in an architecture firm, and he and Joyce like to geek out occasionally.
On our trip we had engrossing discussions on reincarnation, the meaning of life, and chess strategy. |

We know Brian through the same church in which Joyce and Tina met.
Most of his climbing experience is from the foolhardy exploits of his youth. This may explain his awe-inspiring ability to clip way above his head while his legs are quaking. |
Siang and Arthur have been regular climbing partners for a while now. He climbs 5.11s with graceful ease, and is quite intentional about perfecting his abilities. Expect to see him on the cover of climbing magazines in a few years. | ![]() |

| And then there's me. But I figure if you're looking at my home page, you probably already know who I am. |
